This ride goes from my house along fourth/third line to Maki and Red Rock Road. The climb on Maki is deceivingly touch and kicks up just before turning to gravel. The gravel stretch is rough but doable on a road bike but there are some pretty big pot holes. The road becomes paved again when you reach the Prince Wind Farm and make 4 to 5 km twisty descent towards Lake Superior. This is a fun descent but be very careful of oncoming traffic as they will not be expecting you and may take corners too wide. The climb back is longer but more gradual than up Maki Road but the profile doesn\\'t do it justice. It would be nice if the City paved the gravel section but the bike should be able to take it.
