Start Location: Town of Plattsburgh Cadyville Park:<br><br> The Adirondack Cycling Team <br>does this loop again and again! The riders grumble <br>affectionately about the climb up "Achev-Brakey'" Road, <br>but we keep coming back. The Route passes through the <br>village of Dannemora, carved out of the Adirondack <br>wilderness in the 1840s for the famous penitentiary that <br>dominates the hillside. Before and after the village there <br>are great views south into the High Peaks, featuring a most <br>prominent Whiteface Mountain. <br>
