This route contains several options to extend your ride. As you leave the Trailhead, you can go east for a shorter, flatter ride towards Hwy 7. Riding Hwy 7 may provide traffic issues, but it is Sunday morning so it should not be too bad. You may go west and then right on the new Little Blue Pkway. This is a two mile gradual climb until you reach Bundshu. When you turn right on Bundshu, you will be greeted with a nice downhill and one challenging hill just west of 7 hwy. Be careful going down. You must stop at 7 Hwy. The route to Sibley is rural with rolling hills. You may wish to extend you trip with a stop at Fort Osage to take a look at the Missouri River. Lastly, if you still want more, ride east out 24 Hwy. Turn around once the road narrows. Head on back on Lake City Road. If you are not familiar with the area or are new to riding, for safety, please be sure to ride with a partner. Have fun!
