From the quaintest little village imaginable, out on the broad-shouldered industrial roads of Delaware. Broad, well-paved, completely strewn with glass but really not a bad ride. Picked up a flat, but that happens. Starts in Battery Park, and if you look off one of the paths in the park you might find a porta-potty. Otherwise, natural breaks are hard to come by. Ran down to Delaware City, back up to New Castle and then out into suburban hell of strip malls and huge intersections, but again very wide shoulders and turn lanes that turn into dead lanes that bicycles can use very nicely, so no complaints.
