Irving Park Bike Tour
The first one was misty, even rained a little. That was March though.…Chicago….you really have to figure the odds were not so good for a nice day…..anyway, it was still fun to cruise around on our bikes through Portage Park.
\n
\nThe next one was cold. End of April. Not too ridiculous in Chicago, but what a bummer for late April. Sigh. Still, you can take a look at the bike tour of Logan Square.
\n
\nBut this my friends, should be a spectacular Sunday. High 70s they say….80s maybe…..Bright and beautiful day for a bike ride.
\n
\nPerfect for a tour on two wheels highlighting the architecture and history of Irving Park. The tour is about 12 miles long. It takes about 90 minutes. It covers the history and buildings of Irving Park as we bike through the different neighborhoods that make up this northwest side community. What a perfect time to take the bike out, pump up the tires, and get the heart rate going. Hopefully you can join us. We will be meeting at:
\n
\nSouthwest Corner of Horner Park at California and Irving Park Road.
